The Grandstream GRP2650 is the top model in the GRP26 family by capacity and display size, with a 5.0-inch TFT screen at 1280×720 resolution and support for up to 14 lines, 16 SIP accounts, and 56 multi-purpose keys (MPK), making it suited for receptionists or operators handling a high call volume throughout the day. The phone adds support for the GBX20 expansion module for anyone who needs more line keys than the unit itself provides, alongside dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth. It measures 263 x 210 x 82 mm and weighs 1050 grams on its own, or 1620 grams including the shipping package. That combination of a large display, line count, and programmable keys makes the GRP2650 the family’s flagship choice for busy reception desks and operator stations. Bluetooth support also lets an operator pair a wireless headset for moving around the reception desk during a call.

Grandstream GRP2650 Performance for High-Volume Reception Desks

The 5-inch, 1280×720 display gives a much clearer view of contact lists and the status of all fourteen lines than the smaller screens found elsewhere in the family, which matters for staff tracking a high volume of concurrent calls. The 56 multi-purpose keys let a user assign a large number of contacts, lines, or quick-access features on a single screen without digging through submenus. Full-duplex HD speakerphone support with Noise Shield technology keeps calls clear in a busy reception area full of ambient noise and movement. Five-way audio conferencing lets several parties join one call, and the phone supports headset use through either RJ9 EHS or USB for anyone who stays on calls continuously without lifting the handset. Built-in enterprise security features help protect account registration and voice traffic from unauthorized access, which matters when a large number of devices connect to one central reception network.

Use Cases Across Saudi Sectors

The GRP2650 suits large hotel and hospital reception desks and corporate administrative headquarters in Saudi Arabia, where a single receptionist or operator manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily. GBX20 expansion support is particularly useful for internal call centers that need to assign dozens of lines or speed-dial contacts to one receptionist covering multiple departments. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and PoE simplify installation in administrative buildings that manage their networks centrally. It also suits operations desks at regional airports and large university campuses, where a small team manages a very high volume of internal and external calls throughout their shift.

Where It Sits in the GRP26 Family

The GRP2650 represents the family’s ceiling in line count, display size, and programmable keys, going beyond the entry and mid-tier models that make do with smaller screens, fewer lines, and no support for external expansion modules. That makes it the right choice only for reception or operator desks with a high call volume, while the family’s smaller models remain sufficient for regular desk use. For anyone who doesn’t need this level of capacity, the family’s smaller models remain sufficient and lower cost, while this model stays the only one in the range that combines the large display, top line capacity, and expansion module support.

What’s in the Box and Deployment Notes

The GRP2650 package includes the handset with cord, a phone stand, a 12V power adapter, a network cable, and a Quick Installation Guide, alongside the phone unit itself. The unit alone weighs 1050 grams, with a total package weight of 1620 grams, and its footprint measures 263 x 210 x 82 mm — useful figures when planning desk space at a reception counter. The phone can be powered through PoE or through the included power adapter where PoE infrastructure isn’t available. The included phone stand lets the unit sit at a comfortable angle on the reception counter without buying a separate accessory, and the bundled network cable removes the need for a separate cable during first installation.
